Instead of adding every video to the videos section and having the site grow continuously in tragic media fashion it has been decided to create a page with only those videos deemed culturally significant and worthy of taking up space here. Links will be provided to other videos.
The Last Rainforest Trailer (2008) This is based on one of the first stories I ever wrote (so
forgive the bad premise). I wrote all 135 words of the story back when
everybody cared, or at least pretended to care, about the rainforest.
Originally titled "Return of the Thing (from the Core of the Earth)" I
decided to update the name to something much shorter and more
cinematic. After three or four different junkers I decided to rip off a
movie that's going to come out soon that looks like a cross between The
Thing and Algore's A Convenient Lie. Building off of The Last Winter I
named my movie The Last Rainforest. The whole idea of a monster being
unleashed in the jungle seemed pretty exciting when I was a kid, though
not much more was in the story than what is seen in the trailer and the
part where the good guys win in the end somehow. I have to say this
video does try to capture the excitement that was going on in my mind
all those years ago, and quite well I might add. Anyway I hope you
enjoy, and sorry this intro sounds so self-absorbed, what with all the
references to "I" and "my."
When the audio doesn't sync up with
the video that was intentional; I noticed that phenomena happens a lot
in movie trailers and I wanted to mimic it. This only took 49 takes to
get the audio just right. If you like I'll upload all the outtakes for
my next video.
Thankfully as of 31 July only 3,770 square
kilometers of Amazon Rainforest have been cut down, the lowest
deforestation rate since the year 2000. Here's hoping we can get that
number down even lower by next year. Enjoy.
Neon Genesis Evangelion REVAMPED Uncut Uncensored (Full 30 Minutes!) After three demos and months of throwing stuff into a blender and
hoping it would eventually become food here is the complete, uncut,
uncensored (like the originals were anything but) revamped movie.

end! Tell your friends!
The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 2: NGE REVAMPED Commentary The condensed version of a twenty minute commentary on Revamped.
What I think of it; details regarding the creative process;
inspiration; et cetera.
Song: Tegan and Sara - "Empty In Between"... The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 3: An Appeal Part 1 The full title is "An Appeal to the Better Angels of Our Nature Part One."
Have
you noticed a lot of Republicans and conservatives think people who
believe in UFOs are nut cases and conspiracy theorists? And why are
some proponents of God, or an intelligence behind the big bang,
opponents of intelligent design? Why are ID proponents opposed to the
existence of extraterestrial life, and why do a number of advocates of
survival of consciousness reject an uncaused first cause? In the first
part of this two part episode (inspired by an anti-Ron Paul video with
men in tin foil hats) I look into six areas of research that scientific
evidence suggests is real but the researchers don't get along with
eachother and the public is grossly misinformed because materialist
atheists want to control their lives and outlaw morality.
Part
one introduces the players and recommends a number of books to help
educate the people on these areas of REAL science. Part two will make
the appeal to humanity at large to put aside their differences and love
one another and aid eachother in finding out the truth. Further
information can be found at the Irked-Confusion home page and The Urban
Mystic journal.
The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 4: An Appeal Part 2 "An Appeal to the Better Angels of Our Nature Part Two."
Have
you noticed a lot of Republicans and conservatives think people who
believe in UFOs are nut cases and conspiracy theorists? And why are
some proponents of God, or an intelligence behind the big bang,
opponents of intelligent design? Why are ID proponents opposed to the
existence of extraterestrial life, and why do a number of advocates of
survival of consciousness reject an uncaused first cause? In the second
part of this two part episode I look at the question of why intelligent
people can't get along. Also I rip Michael Shermer and Scott Adams for
being Skep-Dicks, as well as Dick Cheney and George Bush Sr. for
covering up UFO documents. Science isn't up to a vote; if it were it
would be called "democracy" and not "science."
Happy Birthday Swami A tribute to Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba on his 82nd birthday. For the benefit of all sentient beings everywhere. Om Sai Ram.

New Golden Compass Trailer The Golden Atheist I have not read the book and I have no
intention of seeing the film. I have nothing against the author; he is
free to write whatever book he wants and people are free to read any
book they want. This is not an attack against the film or anything like
that. Like most of my videos, this is purely for fun.
I do raise
some important points throughout the video, though, such as the need
for there to be infinitely many random universes that are now and
forever undetectable even in theory for atheist-materialism to be true.
This is no more scientific than proposing that an infinitely powerful
God created the universe.
The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 5: On Torture and Fanaticism A reply to "What Would Ron Paul Do?" Seeing as how the Ron
Paul video was a joke I decided to produce a video on what I actually
though of the presidential hopeful. This is a seven minute segment that
was taken out and turned into a seperate video because the original ran
long (22 minutes).
In this video I address questions regarding
religious fundamentalism and whether or not I am a fundamentalist. I
also address whether or not waterboarding constitutes torture when
viewed against what has historically been classified as torture.
The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 6: Ron Paul: Portrait of a Republican The rest of the Ron Paul video. I discuss Ron Paul's positions on
a variety of topics and how I feel about them. This is a serious Ron
Paul video, that looks at the man and his policy, unlike the previous
two. Anyone who is interested in Ron Paul, the Republican party, or
presidential candidates in general should enjoy this video.
Topics include: *War on Terror *War in Iraq *Private Citizen Security Firms *Excise Taxes *Federal Income Tax *Abortion on Demand *Planned Parenthood - History and Policy *Margaret Sanger *Eugenics *War on Drugs *Gun Control *Vietnam Veterans *Illegal Imigration *Welfare for Illegals *Roe v. Wade
What
I had to cut out due to time was that if Ron Paul wins the Republican
nomination I will support him and that I feel he is not the best
candidate, but that he is a better choice than Rudy Gulliani.
The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 7: Gov. Corzine, Global Warming, & Christmas Governor Corzone of New Jersey, the most corrupt state in the
union, has killed the death penalty while all around him the violent
crime rate soars.

Merry Christmas to all and to all no new videos until 2008!
The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 8: Alexander's Siege of Tyre 332 BC, Alexander the Great asks the people of Tyre if he can
sacrifice in their temple and they say no. This unleashes the wrath of
the greatest conqueror in history upon their city. How did Alexander
breech the walls of the fortress city of Tyre and to what effect? Truly
one of the greatest military victories in history.
Also hear an alternative history side note at the end. Did Alexander's army get help in taking the fortress city?
Music from the Alexander soundtrack. Couldn't get the music to work for the entire video so at times the music will go silent (~2:06-3:08 & 6:50-end). I tried eight times over probably six hours to get the music to work but it just doesn't.
Correction: At ~5:44
I say that the battle of Gaugamela is "less than a year" after the
siege of Tyre. This is not true. The siege of Tyre ended in August
332BC and the battle of Gaugamela did not take place until October
331BC, 14 months later.
The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 9: Proving God Part One: Moral Relativism The first in a series of videos looking at different proofs for God's existence and the objections raised against those proofs. This one deals with moral relativism and the law of noncontradiction and how there must be an absolute truth.
Passage quoted from "How Quantum Physics may defeat Atheism" by Peter Zöller-Greer. I have found a link to the PDF of this paper which I highly recommend you read.
I may get in trouble with this in later videos when I take a rather dialetheistic stance when talking about omnipotence and noncontingency.
When I talk about other people using logic to convert people I don't have many specific examples marked down. It just seems to be the central theme of the logic videos to try to convert people. If you make videos about logic don't assume I'm singling you out in particular. There is a whole lot of militancy and anger on YouTube and with this series of videos I'm hoping to cut to the heart of the matter free of any flavourings other people may add that overpower the arguments themselves. Admittedly I do get pissed off toward the middle when talking about how intolerant those people are who extol the virtue of tolerance.

The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 12: Proving God Part Two: The Cosmological Argument Pt. 1: Necessary Beings The second in a series of videos looking at different proofs for God's existence and the objections raised against those proofs. This
one deals with framing the first part of the Cosmological Argument. The
version I have constructed is based in part on Samuel Clarke's version,
and exists in two parts. In this, the first of three videos, I set out
to establish the existence of a necessary being and look at some
objections people might raise. In part two I look at some more
objections, as there are many. In part three I will attempt to prove
that the necessary being from part one is God.
Part One (to prove the existence of necessary beings) 1. There exists a reason for the existence of all beings. (Principle of Sufficient Reason) 2.
Therefore all beings are either contingent (dependent upon another
being for its existence) or necessary (exists because it is its nature
to exist). 3. Not every being can be a contingent being. 4. Therefore there exists a necessary being.
The Urban Mystic Show Ep. 13: Proving God Part Three: The Cosmological Argument Pt. 2: Playing with Infinity The third in a series of videos looking at different proofs for God's existence and the objections raised against those proofs.
The
version of the Cosmological Argument I have constructed is based in
part on Samuel Clarke's version, and exists in two parts.
In
this, the second of three videos, I attempt to resolve some of the
objections people might raise for the first part of the proof. A large
part deals with cyclical universes and why all the fancy string
theories are just media hype and rely on things that can't be proven by
science. In part three I will attempt to prove that the necessary being
from part one is God. I have a busy week ahead of me so it will be a
while before part three is posted.
Peak Oil Propaganda A look at Hubbert's Peak Oil theory, alternative fuel sources, gas prices, and the logistics of dinosaurs. If you want to know why gas is $4 a gallon don't blame Hubbert's bubble, or T-Rex for that matter. It's an economic issue, not a supply issue.
I apologize in advance for saying the word "oil" far too many times. This is a compilation of many different audio clips.
Peak Oil Scam Part One Part one of a 12 minute segment of an interview with Lindsey Williams that appeared on Coast to Coast AM 10 December 2007. He is a primary source in the debate on peak oil.
