The Cardinal Rules in Alchemy
I. An Alchemist must work toward the benefit of all sentient beings. An Alchemist must never harm another being or, through inaction, allow harm to come to another being.
II. An Alchemist must never reveal themself as such or the existence of Alchemy to someone who is not an initiate unless it violates rule number one, or if the person comes to them of their own volition seeking apprenticeship and/or initiation into Alchemy.
